Greenlight Operation has a variety of ways to get involved with our initiatives. Fill out a volunteer application and let us know your area of interest.
2021 Volunteer Opportunities
Our annual Art Festival is our largest event. We have plenty of volunteer roles including planning, day-of set up, clean-up, parking lot attendants, silent auction monitors, kid’s zone assistants, and more!
Our blog is one of the primary research resources we provide. Our team works diligently to create content that is up-to-date, informative, and relevant. We are looking for contributors to further educate our followers through this written platform.
This role would provide assistance with our communications projects. We are looking for both creators and editors.
We are searching for individuals that either want to lead-in or support Greenlight Operation’s fundraising efforts.
Greenlight Operation is run by private donations, and is seeking professional grant writers that specialize in writing private grant applications.
Greenlight Operation relies on graphic design for event promotion, website updates, info cards, and social media. We are looking to add more graphic designers to the team as we expand.
Social Media is a primary way we stay connected with our supporters. We are looking for individuals to assist in content creation and social media support.
We are looking for volunteers to help expand our reach into the local media market by building media relationships and promoting Greenlight Operation.
We are looking for photographers and videographers to help us document events, trainings, fundraising updates, and initiatives throughout the year.
When Greenlight Operation hosts large events, like the Art Festival, we split into teams. We are looking for volunteers that are strong communicators and organizers to lead teams of ten during the day-of an event. The team lead would be the point-person for that team and would oversee other volunteers in that specific area. As with all positions, trainings will be provided.
One of Greenlight Operation’s priorities is to enhance anti-human trafficking public policy initiatives and outreach to public officials. We are looking for individuals to assist with legislative research.
Greenlight Operation fights to free the enslaved, together. We prevent sexual exploitation and human trafficking through education and awareness, collaborate for community-driven change, and serve survivors through holistic restoration. Our dream is to equip communities to transform red-light districts into Greenlight Districts—places free from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and known for liberating, collaborative, and restorative practices.
In order to accomplish our mission, we are looking for experienced, talented, and committed individuals to support our team and expand our outreach throughout Pennsylvania. Interns work closely with the Executive Director and Team Coordinators to boost the organization’s capacity and effectiveness in communications, fundraising, marketing, and events.
Interns will report to the Operations Coordinator and work 10-20 hours per week from home and/or in our office located at 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. We offer 2 internship opportunities, a primary and secondary position. Primary interns will receive approximately 20hrs per week while secondary interns will receive approximately 10hrs per week. Please denote in your cover letter which you would prefer to be considered to fulfill.
