Thank you for you interest in joining the Greenlight Operation Blog Team!
This team is co-run by Anna Knaub, the Operations Coordinator, and Jessica Barnett, writer extraordinaire. Anna has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education and helped launch our Greenlight Operation Blog. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English at Messiah College and Master’s Degree at Villanova University, and has extensive professional blog-writing experience working for a Harrisburg-based nonprofit.
Though Greenlight Operation is volunteer-run, it is our goal to be a leading resource for those wanting to learn or get involved in the anti-human trafficking movement. We expect professionalism and quality. This does not mean that we expect perfect writers! We are here to help provide resources, edit, and brainstorm.
Our goal is for each of our team members to write approximately 1 blog post per month. This will give us ample time for research, self-editing, and peer-editing by Jessica and Anna. We may provide potential topics for volunteers to choose from. There is also freedom for volunteers to choose topics of their own interest, however they should be approved by Anna before writing.
Below are some expectations that we ask are met to be part of the blogging team.
